Environmental Studies is the subject primary teachers teach most broadly, and its
science half covers a very wide syllabus. This course covers the **APTET EVS science**
units on the living world and life processes in eight focused lessons: living and
non-living things, cells, microorganisms, plants and animals, the human body, health

nutrition, respiration, circulation, transport, excretion, coordination and reproduction,
including adolescence.

Section E (Environmental Studies) of APTET 2026 Paper I(A) carries 30 marks: Science
