 3.  Lesson 1 of 6

This course is one **full APTET Paper 1A mock test**: 150 questions in exam order,
30 per section, each section split into subject knowledge and methodology like the
real paper. Take the sections one by one, or all five in one sitting for a full
rehearsal. This first section is **Section A: Child Development and Pedagogy, with
ICT Integration**.

## How to take this section

 * Allow about **30 minutes** for these 30 questions; for the whole paper in one
   sitting, allow about 150 minutes (1 minute per question), and check the official
   notification for the real exam duration.
 * Work without notes, answer on paper first, and mark guesses with a “?”.
 * Then open the answers, count your score out of 30, and note it in the score sheet
   in the last lesson.

  |  Questions |  Part |
   |  1–24 |  child development and pedagogy |
 |  25–30 |  ICT integration |

### Exam focus

Check theorists, stages and ages carefully: most errors here come from mixing up
similar names (Piaget vs Vygotsky, SAMR vs TPACK).

   Vygotsky’s ideas.
 * Kohlberg: punishment and reward (pre-conventional), approval and law (conventional),
   principles (post-conventional).
 * Accommodation changes a schema; Thorndike’s law of effect strengthens satisfying
   responses.
 * IQ = MA ÷ CA × 100; Spearman g and s; Gardner’s intrapersonal = understanding
   oneself.
 * RTE: ages 6–14 and 25% seats; NEP 2020: 5+3+3+4; RPwD Act: 21 disabilities.
