โข The stem carries water and nutrients from the roots to all parts of the plant. It also supports the plant.

7. Draw a tree which you find in your surroundings. Colour it.

9. How do you feel if you see someone cutting the branches of the trees around you? What will you do then?
โข I would feel sad because trees are important for us. I will politely ask them not to harm the tree and explain its importance.
10. What will you do if you see the fallen leaves in your school ground?
โข I will collect the fallen leaves and put them in a compost pit to make manure.
