Numbers and arithmetic make up the largest part of the maths content in Paper I(A), and every mark here can be earned with a clear method and careful steps. This course covers the full APTET maths numbers and arithmetic syllabus in ten lessons, with every calculation worked step by step: numeration and place value, factors and divisibility, HCF and LCM, integers, BODMAS, fractions and decimals, rational numbers, squares, cubes and roots, playing with numbers, ratio and proportion, percentage, profit and loss, discount, GST and interest.
Section D (Mathematics) of APTET 2026 Paper I(A) carries 30 marks: 24 for content and 6 for teaching methodology. Geometry, algebra, data handling and maths methodology are covered in the next course of this bundle.
