The Cow and the Tiger
Take your time. Let the story unfold.
Tara the cow lived near a village path at the edge of a forest. Veer the tiger lived deeper among the trees. They were not friends who played together; they were wild neighbors who usually kept a safe distance from each other.
A storm changes the path
After a night of rain, a branch covered the old trail beside the stream. Tara stopped at the village side of the path. From farther inside the forest, Veer called that he could not find the dry trail back to his home.
A safe way to help
Tara did not walk toward the tiger. She rang the small bell around her neck, and the herder heard it from the village. The herder called a trained forest helper, who knew how to guide a tiger without getting close.
The helper finds the trail
The forest helper watched from a safe place and opened a quiet route around the fallen branch. Veer followed the path deeper into the trees. Tara waited beside the village fence until the forest was peaceful again.
Neighbors with respect
The next morning, the herder cleared the village trail. Tara grazed near her home, and Veer walked far inside the forest. They had helped one another by making room for safety. The forest helper reminded the village that kindness can include giving wild animals space.
