Gentle care for every tooth surface

Explore the everyday routine together. Open each numbered card for a little help.

Talk through the guide with a trusted adult. Family routines and individual needs can differ.
1Get ready with help

Use a soft-bristled brush. A caregiver or dentist helps choose the right amount of fluoride toothpaste.

2Brush carefully

Brush outer, inner and chewing surfaces, including along the gumline, gently for two minutes. Follow any individual dental instructions.

3Make it a routine

Brush twice a day. Spit out toothpaste rather than swallowing it. Do not share toothbrushes; let your brush dry between uses.

Open each card and practise explaining the routine in your own words.
